Shed Site Preparation Orange County Hudson Valley NY
Even the finest Amish sheds and structures need to be installed on a properly prepared foundation.
Shed site preparation starts with establishing a flat surface. We’ll remove rocks, roots, and other items to provide a clear, flat level space. This level surface also needs to allow for proper drainage.
We then remove the topsoil and lay down 4 to 5 inches of crushed stone, also known as a stone pad. The stone pad extends approximately one foot outside all four exterior walls of the shed. This helps keep the shed foundation dry.
Once this site preparation work is completed, it is time to bring in the shed for installation.
